With seven CS units, proprietor Andy Chapman – an Affiliate Member of the Arboricultural Association – is NPTC-qualified in arboriculture with distinction in Arboriculture Science and in Tree Surgery for Craftsmen. All ATC staff are NPTC-qualified in the CS units need for their job description and undergo ongoing training.

The Arboricultural Association is a well respected organisation concerned with raising the standards of tree care in Britain. Therefore we have to adopt best working practice and keep abreast of new developments in working methods.

• We are approved for local authority tree works.

• The company has a £5 million third-party and public-liability insurance, and all climbing and lowering equipment is inspected by a LOLER inspector every six months.

• When felling large numbers of trees, the company applies for a felling licence and has a permanent waste-carrying licence for all debris removed from site.

• TPO (tree preservation orders) and other restrictions are routinely dealt with on your behalf and can take 6 to 8 weeks for the local authority to determine your request. Once consent has been received ATC will contact you to arrange a convenient start date.
